A food festival in Orpington went down a storm last weekend.
The Flavours of Orpington festival celebrated the town's cafes and restaurants and was organised by Orpington 1st BID.
The weekend started with Foodie Friday, an evening of street food, music and comedy.
Orpington resident, Stephen Sangster, said: “It was brilliant, a lovely evening – what a transformation. We would have laughed at the thought of doing this five years ago, which shows how far things have come in the High Street."
On Saturday, chefs from Chandni Indian takeaway and BR6 respectively did a cooking showcase. The showcase took place in the Walnuts Shopping Centre's new Orpington Market.
The festival ended with a 'Bring and share lunch' in the Market Square.
