It is easy to accidentally leave a phone or a sat nav on display in your car.
But how about leaving your bank details together with your PIN?
When Chislehurst police went on patrols yesterday to try and deter vehicle crime they found a range of valuable objects left in cars in full view.
These included bank details with PINs, a box of cannabis, handbags, power tools, sunglasses, a new set of golf clubs, 3 sat navs, and dashcams.
In total the police found 20 items in cars that were visible from the street.
The Met Police have released advice on how to keep vehicle's safe from break-ins.
