A man has been charged with the daylight murder of a man in Brixton.
Police were called at around 12.50pm on Friday, August 18 to Atlantic Road, SW9 to reports of a man suffering from stab injuries.
The victim, 30-year-old Andrew Thompson from Kennington, was then taken to a south London hospital where he died a short while later.
Alando Bolt, 45, of Adelaide Close, Lambeth was then arrested on Friday and subsequently charged on Sunday with murder.
Bolt will appear in custody at Hendon Magistrates' Court today (Monday 21).
A post-mortem examination was conducted on Saturday and gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
Detectives from the homicide and major crime command are investigating and are not seeking anyone else in connection with this matter.
