Volunteers are needed for the planting of a community garden in Hither Green this September.
Gardeners can help create the Verdant Lane Lamppost Community Garden between 11am and 1pm on September 9.
The site for the new garden is at the corner of Verdant Lane and Pasture Road, and the project is being organised by the Lewisham Gardens group.
Volunteers are being asked to bring their own gardening equipment such as gloves and trowels. They are also being asked to bring food to eat after the work is done.
