A horse has died after it was hit by a lorry near Swanley.
The M25 anticlockwise lane was closed on the exit slip road this morning due to the horse lose on the road at J3 M20 / A20, Swanley Interchange.
Kent Police said that the horse was hit by a lorry and suffered a broken leg.
The horse was taken to safety and a barrier was put up around it.
A vet was called and police said the horse was "humanely put down."
Police also said the HGV driver was shaken, but ok.
As well as this, there were major delays earlier this morning after a car broke down between junction 31 for West Thurrock and junction 1A for Swanscombe.
