A £10,000 reward has been offered to anyone who can help find the killer of a Bromley dad who was stabbed in the neck in Greenwich over a Rolex.

Danny Pearce had just left a jazz bar after a night out with his girlfriend and other friends when he was approached by two people on a moped on King William Walk.

The 31-year-old was stabbed whilst they were attempting to rob him of his Rolex in the early hours of July 15 around 15 minutes past midnight.

Paramedics arrived shortly after but despite their best attempts, Danny was pronounced dead at the scene.

Now crime charity Crimestoppers is offering a £10,000 reward for anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for Danny’s murder.

Roger Critchell, Director of Operations at Crimestoppers charity, said: “To knife someone in the neck for a Rolex watch is unthinkable, as is the impact of this murder on those Danny has left behind. These ruthless perpetrators must be found before they strike again.

“I’m certain that someone, somewhere will know this pair and if you’re too worried to speak directly to the police, our Crimestoppers charity will take your information 100 per cent anonymously.

“Call us, or use our non-traceable online form to tell us who these men are and you could be entitled to a reward of up to £10k if it leads to their arrest and conviction.

“If you know who and where these moped riders are, please do the right thing and let us know.”

If you have any information, you can contact Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111 or through their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.

Only information provided to Crimestoppers is eligible for the reward, not information which is passed directly to the police.
