Biggin Hill Airport continues to honour wings in all forms as it donates to youth music project Band on the Run.
Members of a brass band organised by Bromley Youth Music Trust rehearsed in one of the airport's hangars following a £3,500 grant to the scheme.
Band on the Run is a programme that gives school children music tuition.
London Biggin Hill’s donation will go towards sponsoring lessons at Biggin Hill Primary and Charles Darwin School.
Colin Hitchins, community relations manager at London Biggin Hill Airport, said: “As a local business, London Biggin Hill Airport is proud to be contributing to the outstanding work that BYMT does in the Bromley community.
“The life skills and opportunities gained through music are immeasurable and should be open to all children, regardless of their socio-economic background.”
BYMT's Big Phat Brass band will be performing at London Biggin Hill’s Festival of Flight on Saturday 19th August.
