A service is helping Bromley residents who have struggled with mental health problems.
The Recovery Works service, funded by NHS Bromley Clinical Commissioning Group, aims to help residents find work, education and opportunities to live independently.
The service was launched in autumn 2016 and has had good results so far.
Dr Andrew Parson, local GP and chair of Bromley CCG said: “Since the opening of the service, we have had real success in supporting people who are recovering from mental health conditions.
“Not only are they using the services we provide, but they are also influencing what our ongoing support looks like, such as helping us plan and deliver the right training courses to help meet their needs.
“We are particularly pleased that a number have found work or education and others have managed to stay in their jobs even when going through a crisis”.
Recovery Works services are available to people 18 years old or older and registered with a Bromley GP. You can contact Bromley & Lewisham Mind yourself or be referred by a health professional.
