A man has been jailed after a police appeal identified him as the man caught on film breaking a man's jaw.
Sean Clensaw, 31, was sentenced on June 30 to eight months behind bars and ordered to pay £425 costs and a £140 victim surcharge after a video was released that showed him hitting a man in Bexleyheath.
Bexley Police released an appeal in November last year for a male wanted for GBH after an assault on the manager of Esso Petrol in Bexleyheath Broadway.
On Wednesday, October 5 police were called at 1pm to reports of a man being assaulted at the petrol garage.
The victim - a 36-year-old man - suffered a cut elbow and fractured jaw as a result of the attack.
With the public's help, Clenshaw, of St Audrey Avenue, was identified and sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court.
