A video has surfaced online of alleged stabbing in Gravesend and Kent Police is appealing for people with information to come forward.

Police were called on 3.45am on Sunday, July 16 to a report of an assault inside McDonalds in New Road.

Officers and the Ambulance service found a man with injuries consistent with a stabbing.

A video that has been shared on social media shows a figure appearing to stamp on a person before seemingly lunging at them with a with a shiny object in their hand.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police said: “There are two male suspects who are described as black, with one believed to be aged between 16 and 20 years old, around 5ft 8, medium build and wearing black tracksuit bottoms with a grey tracksuit top with the hood up.

“The second suspect is believed to have been wearing dark grey tracksuit bottoms with a dark top and is described as having short hair.”

No arrests have yet been made. The victim is no longer in hospital.

The video has been shared more than 200 times on Twitter.
