A job fair with information on how to expand your repertoire of skills is set to be held in Charlton.

The Jobs and Skills Fair, run by Greenwich Council, will also provide advise on how people can change career or start their own business.

Visitors should come dressed smartly with an up to date version of their CV as employers from a number of sectors will be present.

The fair will be at the Charlton Athletic football ground's north stand in Floyd Road on July 19 between 10am to 3pm.

Councillor Sizwe James, cabinet member for transport, rconomy and smart cities, said: “This Jobs Fair is a brilliant opportunity for Greenwich residents to improve their skills and get help with their CVs.

“We’ve lined up a great selection of employers looking to fill roles right now. It’s really important to help support residents who struggle to find work or are simply looking for a career change.

“This event will help give local residents the tools that they need to improve their employment and skills prospects.”
