Get your wishlist sorted and your buying finger warmed up because Amazon is having another one of its Prime Days.

The online retailer’s third annual event, which is essentially a summer version of Black Friday minus the punch-ups in shops, is happening on July 11.

There’ll be deals galore so many of us will no doubt be tempted to buy things we don’t particularly need or want just because they are on sale.

While Prime Day has been heavily promoted, you might not know as much about the delivery service that lets impatient people get their orders quicker than even the already pretty fast Prime delivery option offers.

Prime Now, which stocks 20,000 products, can deliver at no extra cost within two hours if you’re a Prime member and you’re in its eligible postcode areas which include parts of London - you can check those out at www.PrimeNow.co.uk.

If you really, really need something right away you can have it at your door within an hour of ordering for £6.99.

There are various offers on now for things such as drinks, snacks and cleaning products, then many Prime Day deals will be available with the two-hour delivery on July 11 itself for online shoppers who demand instant gratification.

Jason Weston, UK director of Prime Now, said: “As Prime members enjoy their summer adventures, family holidays and last-minute BBQs, Prime Now will get them items they need in ultra-fast speeds.”

New Prime Now customers can receive £10 off their first Prime Now order until 6pm on July 10 with voucher code 10NOW40. Customers will then receive a further £10 off a future Prime Now order placed after Prime Day.
