Engineering work is taking place on Southeastern all weekend, closing the lines between Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup and Grove Park.

Buses will replace trains and Hastings line trains will be diverted via an alternative route between Orpington and London Bridge. This will take slightly longer.

On Sunday, there are no Southeastern trains to or from Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge.

Most trains will be diverted to London Cannon Street, except for services to Ramsgate and Dover which are diverted to London Victoria because of the additional works taking place near Lewisham.

You will be able to use your ticket at no extra cost on London Underground between affected London terminals to help you complete your journey.

You will also be able to use Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich.

Additionally, on Saturday trains on the following routes will not run:

  • London Charing Cross to Hayes
  • London Charing Cross to Tunbridge Wells
  • London Cannon Street to Orpington

Online Journey planners do not have the details of these changes yet, and Southeastern are “working to get them updated as soon as possible”.

People travelling on Saturday, July 1, should check the journey on Friday, June 30.

People travelling on Sunday, July 2, should check the journey on Saturday, July 1.

You will be able to check your journey on or after these dates using the National Rail Journey Planner.
