A 61-year-old man found in a Hither Green park died from self-inflicted injuries.
Police were called to Lewisham Park on Saturday (June 24) at 5.56pm to reports of an unresponsive man.
Officers attended and the man, who has not been formally identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is not thought to be suspicious and a special post-mortem on Sunday (June 25) established that his injuries were self-inflicted.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
