A Bromley-based dance charity for people with learning disabilities has been endorsed as one of the best in the country.
Magpie Dance has been granted affiliate status from CDET, Confirming quality in Dance, Drama and Theatre.
This was for their continued professional development programmes for people with learning difficulties.
Avril Hitman, Magpie Dance artistic and executive director, was awarded a BEM earlier this year for her work in the community.
She said: “Gaining CDET affiliate status for all Magpie’s CPD opportunities is an endorsement of the high quality of our training offers to a range of individuals and organisations.
“I am delighted that Magpie’s work has been recognised in this way; we look forward to delivering more courses.”
