Round-the-clock security staff have been positioned at a Bromley Common block of flats following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

A spokeswoman said the security staff were there to "reassure" residents in the event of a fire.
She said: “Our residents’ safety continues to be our top priority and so, following recent events, we have arranged temporary 24 hour security at all our blocks of ten storeys and over while fire safety inspections take place and the findings reviewed.”
Some 79 people are either confirmed as dead or missing presumed dead after the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy in the early hours.
