A man has been rescued from the Thames near Erith after being in the water for more than an hour.
The lifeboat was launched from Gravesend yesterday evening (June 25) at 7.25pm after reports of a man clinging to a tug in the Erith.
The Metropolitan Police Service Marine Unit and the Port of London Authority Harbour Launch also attended the scene.
The lifeboat crew carried out an assessment and transferred him to Erith Causeway where London Ambulance Service took over.
