A woman from Sidcup is searching for her very own Cinderella after finding a designer shoe in the middle of the road.

Charlotte Ratcliffe and her sister found the Louboutin shoe in Sydney Road in Sidcup on Friday, June 23.

She said it was in the middle of the road, and they spotted it because of the red sole on the bottom.

The beige heels cost about £500 to buy, so when Charlotte spotted the discarded shoe, she decided to adopt it.

She said: “I would be devastated if I lost it because they are so expensive.

“I nearly drove over it, but when we realised what it was we got out and picked it up. I knocked on doors and looked under cars, I really want to find its owner.”

Mrs Ratcliffe, who blogs about fashion, said her post about the lost shoe has gone viral.

She said: “I had someone from Manchester get in contact thinking it was theirs. It is just crazy.

“I just couldn’t leave it there, the owner must be devastated.”

The shoe is a size 37 beige, left, and was found at ‘around lunchtime’ on Friday, June 23.

Charlotte’s post has been shared more than 1,600 times.

Her post reads: “I am looking for Cinderella! I found this Louboutin shoe is Sydney Road in Sidcup today size 37. I know the owner would be devastated to have lost it so I would love to find them.”
