An internationally-renowned festival is set to hit Greenwich tomorrow (Friday June 23) and runs to July 8, showcasing the best outdoor arts on offer right on the borough’s doorstep.

The Greenwich + Docklands International Festival (GDIF) is the Royal Borough of Greenwich’s annual celebration of cultural diversity, and provides some of the best, brightest and most innovative entertainment in the capital.

GDIF forms a part of the Royal Greenwich Festivals, which is hosted by the council.

From a busy journey travelling in reverse in Eltham to a giant illuminated moon, this year’s edition is packed with things that residents will find intriguing.

In addition, there will be eight new debutants on the scene, featuring an outdoor version of Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge from the Belgian collective De Roovers, hosted in Greenwich’s Peninsula Quays.
