A man has died after being hit by a train at Hither Green station.
British Transport Police were called at 7.14am today to reports of a person hit by a train.
A police spokesman said: "Officers alongside paramedics attended but sadly a man has been pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers will now work to establish the man’s identity and inform his next of kin.
"A file will be prepared for the coroner.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious."
Train lines have reopened but services running through Hither Green station are been delayed by up to 30 minutes, with disruption expected until 4.30pm.
