A group of Chislehurst churchgoers have transformed the Age UK garden.
The congregation of Ichthus Chislehurst helped to replant the beds at The Garden Room in High Street, where they hold their Sunday morning service.
Congregation Leader David Jacklin told us: "We were particularly pleased to be able to replant the garden raised beds at The Garden Room, with the help of a very kind donation from the Chislehurst Rotary Club, and with the co-operation of Age UK Bromley & Greenwich (Chislehurst)’.
"As a friendly small church, we seek to be at the heart of the community, and proclaim the good news of Jesus' coming to this world, and why he came, we were pleased to enter into the spirit and carnival atmosphere of the Chislehurst Fair."
The church held an afternoon tea after the morning service on Sunday for the community to celebrate the reopening of the garden.
