Children at Bright Horizons Teddies Greenwich Nursery and Preschool took part in their own mini general election.
After learning more about democracy, the children decided that they wanted a peer who could speak on their behalf.
Out of 21 candidates, Ava was voted as Prime Minister of Teddies Greenwich.
Loraine Thorpe, nursery manager, said: “We spoke about democracy and looked at the rule of law.
“In Ava’s opening speech she was asked what she would like to be put in place and her key message was that she wanted everyone to make happy choices.”
