A pair of teenagers have been arrested in Greenhithe on suspicion of theft.
Following reports that people had been trying to open car doors, police on patrol in Dartford found a sports bag that they believe contained stolen bank cards and car equipment.
Police searched the area in the early hours of today (Tuesday, June 6) and arrested two teenagers.
A spokesman for Kent Police said: "An 18-year-old man from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of theft and tampering with a vehicle.
"A 14-year-old boy from Gravesend was arrested on suspicion of theft, tampering with a vehicle, and going equipped for theft."
They have both been released pending further enquiries.
