A garage and gas cylinders have caught on fire in St Paul's Cray.

Two fire engines are at the scene in Mickleham Road while firefighters attempt to cool the gas cylinders

London Fire Brigade was called to the scene at 1.04pm today.

James, who declined to give his second name, said he had rented the garage and that there were 10 bottles of gas inside.

He said: "It's all flammable, like a ticking time bomb."

A witness told News Shopper that part of the street is taped off and that the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service are also in attendance.

News Shopper has contacted police and LAS.
