Two teenage girls “ran” from a man who reportedly approached them and gestured for them to get in the backseat of his car in Sidcup.
Police say the 13-year-olds were approached by a man driving a black car in Rowley Avenue, Sidcup at 7.30am on Friday, May 19.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “He spoke to them and then gestured towards the back seat of his car. The girls ran off, and the incident was reported to police.”
The man is described as being black with a bald head and a London accent. He was reportedly wearing black clothing.
Schools in the area have warned parents to remain vigilant.
Police said there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
