A Bromley woman has said her life is a “nightmare” after her attacker failed to turn up to court and police have been unable to find her.

Shinea Mullett, 19, from Macclesfield Road in South Norwood, attacked Sam Gosling when she was at a party in Bromley last July.

Ms Gosling, 24, was at her boyfriend’s party at the Coney Hall Football Club when Mullett punched her in the head.

She said: “She and her friend turned up uninvited. She was asked to leave but she hit my sister-in-law and punched me in the head.

“I have a head injury thanks to it. I have had headaches all the time.”

Mullet pleaded not guilty to two counts of assault but the jury found her guilty at Bromley Magistrates' Court on April 5.

She released on bail until April 12 when she was supposed to appear for sentencing at Bexley Magistrates’ Court, but on that date she failed to appear.

Now Ms Gosling said she feels scared leaving the house and going to work, knowing that her attacker is out there.

She said: “It has been a nightmare. The police can’t locate her.

“She doesn’t seem to care so I won’t be surprised if she came after me, especially where I’m working. I am always thinking of whether she is about.

“I don’t want to park on the side street. It’s very stressful.”
