A 35-year-old man has been stabbed outside a primary school in Plumstead.
Greenwich police and London Ambulance Service were called just before 10pm last night (April 26) after a man was stabbed in Robert Street outside Waterside Primary School.
Posting on Facebook, Lucas Parker wrote: “He got stabbed in the top of his right leg round by Emmaus on Glyndon estate and managed to get round to Paddy Power where he lost consciousness.
“Information so far says that it punctured a main artery.”
Police said the man’s injuries are being treated and are not considered life-threatening.
Caiwo Oworu, who works nearby, said: “I saw blood on the pavement this morning. I saw staff from the local authorities cleaning the blood off the streets.”
Police said there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
