Five people have been arrested after police raids in Dartford this morning (March 10).

Searches were carried out by officers investigating the theft of motorbikes across Dartford, Gravesend and Bexley.

Officers from both Kent and the Met Police were involved.

Properties in Elm Road, Gordon Road and Radzan Close were searched and police found and seized suspected drugs.

Police made five arrests.

A 16-year-old boy from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of stealing three motorbikes from Strood, Greenhithe and Dartford between February and March.

He was also arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

A 27-year-old man from Dartford was also arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

A 38-year-old woman was arrested and bailed until March 15 on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

An 18-year-old man from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motorbike in Greenhithe and possessing class A and B drugs with intent to supply.

Police also arrested a 57-year-old man for allegedly possessing a controlled substance with intent to supply.

The three men and boy remain in custody.
