A pensioner who was hit by a moped near Clock House station is in critical condition.
The man, in his 70s, was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed officers were called to the scene at 1.45pm today.
Road closures are in place around Beckenham Road while emergency services deal with the incident.
Bus routes 194, 227, 354, and 358 are on diversion via Parish Lane or Elmers End Road.
