Bexley residents have been warned to take extra care after a series of indecent exposures in Abbey Wood.

Dog walkers have been flashed by a man in Lesnes Abbey Wood Park on five seperate occasions between December 12 and January 17, say officers from Bexley Police.

The attacks happened during the early afternoon and evening between 12pm and 5pm.

The suspect on each occasion has been described as black, 20-30 years old, slim and approximately 5ft 9ins.

He has been seen wearing a dark coloured coat, blue trainers and a face covering described as a scarf or a hood.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on January 7 in connection with the investigation but has been released with no further action.

Officers advised members of the publiuc to take care when using the park and if they see anyone matching the description or anyone acting suspiciously in the woods to call 999 immediately.
