X Factor finalist and Bromley boy Matt Terry performed a homecoming gig in Market Square with mentor Nicole Scherzinger.
He headed to his home town in the 'battle bus' to drum up support ahead of the competition final on Sunday night.
Matt, 23, took to the stage at 7pm last night after holding a meet and greet for fans in Bromley High Street earlier in the afternoon.
He was welcomed home by Mayor of Bromley Ian Payne at the former waiters old workplace Carluccios.
Councillor Ian Payne, the Mayor of Bromley said, “We were pleased to be part of the welcome home celebration for Matt Terry, our X Factor finalist.
"The reception he got showed that everyone in Bromley and much wider afield was delighted for him.
"Bromley has many talented people but Matt Terry has the X Factor and we wish him well in his future career.”
Matt, a former pupil of D&B performing arts academy couldn't hide his excitement before the show, tweeting 'Bromley I'm Here!!!', and afterwards saying 'That was insane!!'.

The X Factor final is on Sunday (December 10) at 8pm on ITV.
