The one place in Kent and SE London where there will be a full train service running on Sunday 11th Dec, be it in miniature will be at Bexleyheath and a massive model rail show with 22 fully scenic layouts including ones from Russia, Mexico and of course the UK. The world's smallest trains, the size of your finger tip will be on show along with some big trains. There will be two computer train sims to play with, most of the local model shops will have stands there along with some weird and wonderful model related stands including 'Michael Portillo' miniature character complete with choice of loud trousers and carrying a Bradshaw guide, perfect person to add to your layout. Another amazing layout making an appearance is 'LOCO GRAVEYARD' which is a modern train scrap yard with fully detailed retail park with B&Q, Toys R Us, Greggs the baker and Lidl.

The show is run by SELKENT Model railway club which is a not for profit club run by its members The show will be held at Bexleyheath Academy, at the Graham Road entrance directly behind ASDA and the organisers are advising that people come via public transport as only 2 mins walk from the bus stands in Bexleyheath town centre.
