A Sutton at Hone cat has used up one of its nine lives after it wedged itself between two brick walls.

The feline had trapped itself in a six-inch-gap.

The maine coot cat was trapped and unable to move at a property in Longmarsh View on Saturday (November 12).

Kent Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene at around 2pm.

They were able to chisel out a few bricks from one of the walls to free the cat 45 minutes later.

It was checked over by the RSPCA and handed back to the owner unharmed.

The RSCPA confirmed this isn't the first time the feline has been in trouble - its last adventure resulted in a fire rescue from the top of a tree.
