A towering jet of water has sprung up from the pavement of a street in Blackheath.
A pipe in Vanburgh Park Road has been damaged, causing the fountain to appear.
A Thames Water spokesman said: “We're on our way to investigate after reports of contractors, who were not working for Thames Water, accidentally damaging our water pipe while working in Vanburgh Park Road."
