A Thamesmead man has been banned from every pub and club in London after attacking another man in a nightclub.
Richard Bowman, 28, punched his victim in the head during the unprovoked assault at the Salvador and Amanda club in Westminster.
The 21-year-old man was knocked to the ground in the “brutal” attack and lost two teeth.
Bowman, of Malthus Path, walked free after he was sentenced at Southwark Crown Court to nine months in prison suspended for two years.
He was also ordered to pay the victim £3,500 compensation and to attend a programme for alcohol issues.
The pubs and clubs ban will last for 18 months.
Bowman was found guilty of assault causing actual bodily harm for the attack that happened at 2am on October 18, 2014.
Detective Constable Stuart Green, from Westminster CID, said: "This was a cowardly unprovoked assault.
“The offender punched the victim to the ground with brutal force.”
