Chatterbox House Day Nursery in Crofton Avenue, Bexley
A woman has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a three-year-old child at a nursery in Bexley.
The 28-year-old is a member of staff at Chatterbox House Day Nursery in Crofton Avenue.
On July 28 police received a referral from Bexley Council where the allegation was made.
The woman was apprehended on August 8 and has been bailed to return later this month.
Chatterbox House Day Nursery has reportedly been closed since the start of the week.
Police continue to investigate and are being assisted by Bexley Council and Ofsted.
