Crayford Road remains closed from the entrance of the Acorn Industrial Estate to Station Road while attempts are made to repair the pipe.

Thames Water has told News Shopper that it does not have a timescale for when the road will fully reopen.

A spokesman said: “We’re sorry to anyone affected by the road closure.

“Our teams are working as fast as they can, but the damaged pipe is deep below the ground, making this a complex repair.”
