Rail users on Southeastern's Bexleyheath line faced delays this morning because of a trespasser who fell on the track at Kidbrooke.
The woman was spotted on the side of the railway line under the bridge, bringing all trains to a halt.
Officers from British Transport Police were called to reports a person fallen on the tracks just after 9am.
Paramedics were seen appearing to treat the person on the track while a crowd of passengers looked on.
A spokesman for the British Transport Police said a woman was treated for injuries to her leg and head.
She was taken as a priority to a major trauma centre in south west London.
Southeastern alerted passengers on social media, saying: "Trains are currently being disrupted on this route because of a trespass incident at Kidbrooke.
"More details when known."
