A body of a chihuahua has been found dumped behind garages in Belvedere.
The small female black-and-tan pup was discovered in Upper Holly Hill Road just after 6pm on Thursday.
It is thought the chihuahua was around eight to 12 weeks old, with her body lying there for at least two days.

RSPCA inspector Nicholas Wheelhouse said: “We don’t know how this tiny little dog died but it is very strange - and sad - that her body was dumped out in the open like that as if she was a bit of rubbish.
“We would ask anyone with any information about how she may have died or who may have left her to come forward and call us on 0300 123 8018.
“She had a peculiar circular cut on her side, but there is no evidence this was linked to her death - it might have been wildlife.”
