Prepare for a scare in north Kent this Halloween because the House of the Dead is setting up a home at Bluewater.

The interactive horror experience - founded by two of the creative team behind the forthcoming mega Paramount Resort London that is due to open in Swanscombe in 2021 – is bringing two terrifying treats to north Kent this October.

For families, the Mystery of the Pumpkin Ghost will see visitors invited into the Toy Shop and greeted by the Toymaker himself who will share the secret history of the Pumpkin Ghost who has cursed the shop for generations. With a little help from some hilarious characters, it is down to you to solve the clues and solve the mystery.

The Mystery runs from 11am to 5pm from October 22 to 31 and costs £6.95 adults and £7.95 children.

For those who like their Halloweens a little scarier, there is Professor Mengal’s Nightmare Emporium - a 30-minute walkthrough experience with ‘horror movie quality’ sets where the spooky professor will walk you through his curious collection of creatures and creations and you will come face-to-face with demonic toys, roaming zombies and monsters played by a cast of professional actors.

It opens for a preview at Bluewater’s Student Lock-in on October 6, with discounted tickets at £15, and then runs from October 14 to 31 with tickets from £18.
