A Woolwich teenager caught by police with ten wraps of crack cocaine has been jailed.
Jack Doherty, 18, of Sovereign House, Europe Road was sentenced to two years and two months imprisonment at Woolwich Crown Court on Friday, September 23.
Doherty pleaded guilty to possession of ten wraps (1.17 grams) of crack cocaine with intent to supply on August 11 at Bromley Magistrates' Court.
He was caught in the act dealing drugs by detectives from the Greenwich Borough Gangs Unit during a patrol of a drug supply hotspot in Kingsman Parade at 9.30am on Wednesday, August 10.
When Doherty was stopped and searched police found ten wraps of crack cocaine.

He was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply the next day.
Detective Constable Gavin Russell from the Greenwich Gangs Unit said: "I am pleased with the sentenced imposed.
"Jack Doherty chose to engage in drug supply and now has to face the consequences of his actions and serve a term of imprisonment.
"I want the community to see that we are doing everything we can to rid the streets of this anti-social behaviour in Greenwich."
