A driver sped away from police in a stolen minicab and rammed a police car in a chase that ended in Shortlands yesterday (August 30).
Bromley Police used a helicopter, dogs and a stinger - a spike strip tyre deflation device - to stop the driver.
Police confirmed that the car concerned in yesterday's chase was a licensed minicab.
The minicab driver had been assaulted and the car stolen a few hours earlier.
It is not clear where the "lengthy pursuit", which ended at about 6am, started.
The driver was eventually apprehended on Beckenham Lane (@MPSBromley)
Bromley Police tweeted: "TPAC [Tactical Pursuit And Containment] tactics used after lengthy car chase this morning - police vehicle rammed. Stinger deployed. Driver detained."
The chase ended in Beckenham Lane yesterday morning and the road was closed to deal with the incident.
No one was injured.
