Three fire engines and 14 firefighters and officers were called to a house fire in Bromley.
Part of the ground floor of two terraced houses in Salisbury Road was damaged by the blaze.
A ten kilogram composite cylinder was involved in the fire and removed and cooled by fire crews.
The Brigade was called at 1.57am and the fire was under control at 3.22am.
Fire crews from Bromley and Beckenham fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
