New Cross Road was cordoned off by police last night (August 24) after shots were fired at a bus stop.
The incident happened at about 8.15pm near the junction of Billington Road.
Despite the dramatic scenes, police attended but found no one had been injured.

Evidence of a discharge of a firearm was found and a crime scene was put in place causing the temporary closure of New Cross Road.
The Trident and Area Crime Command has been informed and will be investigating.
