Trains through Forest Hill are back to normal today after a second sinkhole opened up beneath the tracks, causing more rail chaos for commuters.
Yesterday services towards London Bridge were unable to stop at Norwood Junction, Anerley, Penge West, Sydenham, Forest Hill, Honor Oak Park, Brockley and New Cross Gate.
London Overground services were unable to run between New Cross Gate, Crystal Palace and West Croydon.
It was the second hole to open up beneath the tracks in the space of a month, after the last void caused two days of commuter chaos.
Southern confirmed services through Forest Hill had resumed last night, but disruption was expected until this morning.
Sorry for the disruption yesterday. If you were delayed by 30 minutes or more you may be entitled to delay repay https://t.co/i9ne423RnQ
