More than 100 people gathered to have their say on the future of 260 homes on an Erith estate.
Residents came together to have their voice heard on the prospective Arthur Street development on July 16 at Peareswood School.
Over 90 per cent of residents from the estate said they wanted to leave and welcomed change from the housing association giant Orbit.
Phase one of the 580 home Erith Park estate has been completed
Orbit, which owns and manages around 4,600 homes across the borough, held the consultation to gauge local appetite for possible regeneration.
There are currently 263 homes on the Arthur Street estate which sits on the other side of the road to one of the association's latest 580 home developments, Erith Park.
At their current building rate, Orbit is putting up 1,700 homes a year increasing their 39,000 strong portfolio of homes.

Caroline Field, regeneration project manager, said: “We would like to thank everyone who attended the consultation and shared their thoughts on Arthur Street with the team.
“The desire for change among the people who live on the estate was overwhelming.”
The housing association has confirmed that all the feedback is to be assessed.
