Two men have been charged with escaping police custody, and drink-driving in Bexleyheath.
Police stopped a stolen car on Saturday (July 23) at 11.30pm while on patrol.
William Pierce, 29, of no fixed address, was charged the following day with escaping lawful custody while Levi Wales, 38, was charged with drink driving, driving without a licence and without insurance.
Wales will appear at court later today.
Pierce remains at a south London police station.
