A 37-year-old man suffered "potentially life threatening" injuries when he was hit by a car in Woolwich.
Police and paramedics were called to Artillery Place at the junction with Rectory Road at 4.30pm yesterday (July 4) after the crash.

A London air ambulance airlifted the man, who suffered serious head injuries, to a north London hospital.
Police confirmed the man's injuries are “potentially life threatening”.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
