A man has pleaded not guilty to causing death by careless driving following a fatal crash in Gravesend.
Rimantas Karvelis, 56, from Lithuania, sustained serious head injuries after the crash in London Road on October 24 last year.
Mr Karvelis was in the UK to visit one of his two sons who was ill in hospital.
He was taken to a London hospital but died 10 days later (November 3).
Costica Ciapa, 27, of no fixed address, has denied three counts of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and death by driving unlicensed, uninsured or disqualified while driving.
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.
Ciapa is due to stand trial at Maidstone Crown Court on July 26 next year.
