TRAFFIC WARNING: Expect delays on A2 and M25 in Kent this morning
Expect delays if travelling on the A2 between Kent and London this morning (June 1).
Highways England warned of “heavy traffic” on Watling Street London-bound between the Northfleet / Ebbsfleet turn-off and M25 junction 2, at the Darenth Interchange in Dartford.
Meanwhile, drivers queued as far as Swanley because of a broken down car on the clockwise M25.

The incident, which happened between the Clacket Lane Services and Sevenoaks, was cleared at just before 7.30am.
However, there was heavy traffic building between Swanley and Orpington as residents set off for work.
